Karen Green, CRNP
Karen Green earned her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Seton Hall University in New Jersey. Her first nursing experience was working in the emergency room at Ocean Medical Center and it was there that she realized her passion was working in mental health. Karen left the ER and started working for the Division of Youth and Family Services in NJ, case managing children in foster care.
After Karen and her family were transferred to Maryland, she started working for Catholic Charities in their residential treatment facilities for children. It was there that she decided that she could have more impact on improving mental health outcomes if she were to become a prescriber herself. Karen earned her CRNP-PMH from the University of Maryland School of Nursing. Karen is also certified through the American Nursing Credentialing Center.
Karen joined EHP in 2014 and she has been treating primarily pediatrics, adolescents and young adults. “I firmly believe that improving mental health requires the use of multiple treatment interventions such as therapy and homeopathic treatments (ie: oils, light therapy, exercise) along with medication management.”
In her free time, Karen enjoys kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and spending time with her husband, 5 sons and 2 beautiful grandchildren.
